Kirsten is the Deputy Editor of Cyclingnews. She oversees the global racing content plan while working across the global team to ensure ♚quality, engaging content and audience growth.

Kirsten Frattini has a background in Kinesiology and Health Science. She has been invo༒lved in cycling from the community and grassroots level to professional cycling's biggest races, reporting on the WorldTour, Spring Classics, Tours de France, World Championships and Olympic Games.

She began her sports journalism career with Cyclingnews as a North American Correspondent in 2006 before moving into a Production Editor's role in 2🃏014, writing, producing and publishing international racing content. In 2018, Kirsten became Women's Edit𒁏or – overseeing the content strategy, race coverage and growth of women's professional cycling – before becoming Deputy Editor in 2023.

Laura Weislo
Laura Weislo

Laura Weislo has been with Cyclingnews since 2006 after making a switch from a career in science. As Managing Editor🐷, she coordinates coverage for North American events and global news. As former elite-level road racer who dabbled in cyclo-cross and track, Laura has a passion for all three disciplines. When not working she likes to go camping and explore l𒉰esser traveled roads, paths and gravel tracks.

Stephen Farrand

Stephen is the most experienced member of the Cyclingnews team, having reported on professional cycling since 1994. He has been Head of News at Cyclingnews since 2022, before which he held the position of European editor since 2012 and previously worked for Reuters, Shift Active Media, and CyclingWeekly, among other publications.

Matilda Price is an NCTJ-qualified journalist based in the UK who joined Cyclingnews in March 2025. 

Prior to that, she worked at the Racing News Editor at GCN, and extensively as a freelancer contributing to Cyclingnews, Cycling Weekly, Velo, Rouleur, Escape Collective, Red Bull and more. 

She has reported from many of the biggest 🐼events on the calendar, including the Giro d'Italia, Tour de France Femmes, Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix. 

She has particular experience and expertise in w🌌omen's cycling, and women's sport in general. She is a graduate of modern languages and sports journalism.
